Reflection Tool

Understanding Your Patterns

A self-reflection guide for exploring how you communicate, process, focus, adapt, and experience the world.

This 44-question guided reflection is designed to help adults notice patterns that may be useful for self-understanding and conversations with a qualified professional.

Important: This is an educational self-reflection tool, not an autism screening, diagnostic, or clinical assessment. Your responses do not determine whether you are on the autism spectrum. Autism can only be diagnosed through an appropriate clinical assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.

About this tool

This self-reflection tool was independently developed by Lunden International based on broad research and lived-experience literature concerning autism in adults. All statements, categories, response options, and results used in this tool are original to Lunden International. It does not reproduce, adapt, modify, score, or administer the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) or any other clinical or research assessment. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Autism Research Centre, the University of Cambridge, or the AQ authors.

How to use it

For each statement, choose the response that best reflects your experience. There are no right or wrong answers. At the end, you will see the areas you endorsed most often. These results are intended to support reflection, not to produce a diagnostic score.

Your responses stay in your browser. This page does not send or save your answers.
